How exciting! One more day until we see the Nativity through the eyes of “The Chosen”

Looking forward to seeing you, your family, and friends tomorrow!
Just three notes for tomorrow
1. Because the movie will be shown inside the church (imagine how powerful this experience is going to be), let us remember to have hearts of reverence for our sacred space being ever mindful of the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the tabernacle.

2. Because the church is a sacred place, please refrain from bringing food or beverage items with you.

3. There is a Christmas cookie and hot cocoa reception following the movie in the Parish Life Center (PLC)!

You can still register here https://olmercy.com/christmaswiththechosen/
especially for those looking to share the “reason for the season” with family and friends who may not actively be going to Church. “Christmas with The Chosen” is a beautiful and simple way to engage them into the life of Jesus. Helping us to see how Jesus was born so “that men no more may die” because His birth, the incarnation, is an act of rescue, which makes the circumstances even more amazing.

There is a reason that we pause annually to relive the Nativity of Jesus Christ and to tell this story in our parishes and homes. Those workings of the Holy Spirit, which call us to not only “know” the Good News of the Gospel but to share it, can be kindled in the hearts and souls of those who hear the Christmas story.
__
Saint Joseph we ask you to come to us. Help us to relish the beauty of Our Lady.

And dear Mama Mary teach us….teach us what it’s like to receive God, to carry Him within and with Saint Joseph teach us what it’s like to prepare a suitable dwelling, to make our hearts and our lives in the details small and great ever more beautiful and welcoming to the coming gift of God.
