Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.
Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end. No one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.
This ministry engages in education, community service and public policy activities related to pro-life issues (abortion, infanticide and euthanasia among others). We seek to increase respect for all human life, from conception to natural death. Everyone’s welcome to join, whether you want to be active in planning and carrying out activities, or just want to receive our Pro-Life newsletter to keep up on issues.
The power of prayer is unbelievable! Please be in prayer with us every 1st Friday of the Month at Planned Parenthood.
We have heard that a Side walk counselor spoke to a young woman who is considering an abortion. She was there on a non abortion day so she may be there on Friday which is a surgical abortion day.
It is our peaceful, prayerful presence that changes hearts and minds from going through the lifelong pain that abortion puts on not only the mother but everyone she loves and cares for. The father feels the pain just as much.
We have been blessed in the past of seeing a woman change her mind from going into Planned Parenthood for an abortion and instead go to Waterleaf for her free ultrasound and the support for that baby and her family as well.
Please do consider joining us.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
A mother and baby need your help!
Can you help buy some essential items for a mom and baby?
A mom seeking an abortion in Downers Grove has chosen life! A sidewalk advocate has been walking with her every step of the way, but this brave mama needs your help.
A piece of the story shared by the “sidewalk advocate for life” with permission from the mother in need:
In January of 2021, a young 23-year-old girl was pregnant and had an abortion scheduled at an Access abortion clinic in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her friends were pressuring her to abort the baby. She was very angry, she shouted that she had one abortion already and had already put one girl up for adoption. I told her that she’s too special to be giving herself to men like that. She was very angry and sat in her car for an hour while I tried to give her information for crisis pregnancy resource centers, post-abortion health, and so forth. She finally got out of the car and thought to herself that she deserved to give me some time because I stood out in a snowstorm wanting to talk to her for an hour. She said she just changed her mind, she was going to put the baby up for adoption and she was going to cancel her abortion. Since then she’s decided to parent her baby. When she told me that she planned to not go through with the abortion I asked her “who is taking care of you“? And she said “nobody”. She said she was in the emergency room that week vomiting blood with a torn esophagus from morning sickness, and she had no one to put down for her emergency contact. I told her I would be her emergency contact, I would be there for her, she can trust me, and that I loved her. She didn’t know how to receive this saying, “you don’t even know me“. I told her to give me a chance to get to know her, and we talked for the next four hours. She told me her whole life story and it’s a very difficult one. We met at Waterleaf in Aurora 2 days later and she wanted me to see her baby on the ultrasound with her. We talked for 3 more hours. She has changed her life around day by day, trusting in me, and now she calls me her soul mom. The pro-life movement in front of Access is pitched in and donated so much! She now praises God and believes in God‘s love and mercy. She knows how special her baby is and I continue to tell her how special she is. She has been working a full-time job for about two months, and our pro-life group has helped pay for her to have a home to live in and a down payment for a car. We’ve sent her gift cards to Walmart to eat and gas. She could drive to her job, grocery store, and doctors’ appointments. She has never felt so much love in her life. She has been abused very badly. She continues to need our love and prayers as she has a long journey ahead of her. Being a single mom, and all she has been through, she is doing everything she can to give a good life to her little unborn baby girl that she has named Kamryn. She has moved to Kansas because she gets free healthcare for her and her baby there, this is due to her being in the foster system herself. She is so grateful for everything. Please consider contributing to her. Please pray for her and her baby. The Lord God has done wonders with her life since January. It’s been a miracle after miracle! Her and I say how much we can’t believe all the miracles and we are living it!! God bless you!
