Blessing of the Animals 10/7

We are paws-itively excited about our annual Pet Blessing this weekend! Join us on Saturday, October 7th at 12pm in the circle drive to have your pet blessed, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi!

St. Francis, whose feast day is October 4th, gained special recognition for his love of nature and animals, and many stories tell of him “preaching to the birds” when a group of noisy swallows was disturbing his preaching. The birds immediately fell silent and stood all around him, listening intently as he spoke of God’s majesty.
