It’s Undy Sunday this weekend!
Catholic Charities of Diocese of Joliet has found that low-income families and seniors living on poverty-level incomes do not spend money on underwear even though they desperately need it.
Our Lady of Mercy Church is helping Catholic Charities and the individuals and families they serve by asking your generous donation of NEW underwear, undershirts, socks, and diapers for children and adults. All sizes are needed.
Specific items on the “wish-list” include long underwear, diapers, pull-ups, wipes, women’s underwear (small and medium), men’s boxer briefs (all sizes). Collection Boxes will be placed in the Narthex this Sunday Oct 21st after all masses.
