COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Our Lady of Mercy Family,

In light of these uncertain times, we’re reaching out to let you know that your parish is here for you.  We can only imagine that some of us are experiencing fear and anxiety while others are going through the loss of things we’ve taken for granted; going out to restaurants, movies, sporting events.  Tantamount to our loss is the inability to gather to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on Sunday.

What we do in the Church, we do out of love for God and love for our brothers and sisters and so in accordance with our Bishop (please see Bishop’s letter here), effective immediately all public celebration of the Sunday weekend Masses at OLM are suspended until further notice. All souls are dispensed from their Sunday obligation.  We are taking this extraordinary step today out of love and concern for those in our families and communities who are most vulnerable to this deadly coronavirus.

In light of the recent developments on the federal, state, local and Diocesan levels, in addition to the above please find below what you can expect from Our Lady of Mercy.

  • We will still praise God and will have a Mass streamed live on FaceBook at 9am that will be closed to the public but available to view later so that you can stay connected to your faith and your parish.

For the rest of the message, please click here.

In the absence of public Mass, please find below links to daily Mass you can take virtual part in from wherever your are at right now.
