Adult Volunteers Needed!

In what way is the Spirit calling you to use your gifts and talents at VBS TRUE NORTH? In what area of VBS are you being led to guide campers to Trusting Jesus in a Wild World? Many adult volunteers are needed to make VBS 2025 a success. User-friendly guidebooks are provided for each volunteer area.

What roles do Adult Volunteers fill at VBS?

  • Adult/Parent Guides – Campers travel in groups of 10 campers with 2 teen/tween Crew Leaders from station to station. As an Adult/Parent Guide, you will equip your two crew leaders to serve their group of campers as you safely oversee and guide them from station-to-station.
  • 1:1 Aide for Students with DisABILITIES – Provide 1:1 Support for our campers with DisABILITIES so they are successful navigating, participating in and transitioning through the VBS stations.
  • Pre-K, Age 4 Station – In a safe and self-contained preschool environment, lead our youngest campers to know Jesus.
  • Childcare Station – Children able to walk, through ages 3.5 years old are provided a nurturing environment with caring adults called to interact with our little ones so that their parents may take leadership roles throughout our VBS week.
  • Music and Skit Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, facilitating super-fun skits and movement to VBS songs.
  • Bible Adventures Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, to enact and discuss the Bible story that connects to the Bible point for each day.
  • Game Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, by organizing and teaching them how to play a variety of outdoor cooperative games with an encouraging team spirit
  • Imagination Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, by showing them the connection between each day’s science exploration to the Bible point of the day.
  • Sticky Scripture Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, helping campers discover and connect more meaning with each day’s Bible verse using their bodies, heads, and hearts.
  • Snack Station – Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, in making and serving a different snack each day during the campers’ Sticky Scriptures Station experience.
  • Scripture Meditation & Service Station Lead or Co-Lead your team of teens and tweens, by helping to connect a scripture meditation to a service project.
