Young Adults With DisAbilities (18+) Are Invited
The Buddy Social
Peers (age 18+) gather together in friendship with young adults with disabilities. Together they meet one Friday evening a month to spend time in fun and relaxed settings – such as bowling, going out to eat, or participating in other community activities.
Registration is required. See below.

Creating a positive, welcoming environment where meaningful, long-lasting friendships can grow and where everyone has something to look forward to each month!
The Buddy Social – Spring 2026
Three Events
Event 1 – April 10 – Pizza & Board Games
Come join us on April 10 from 6-8pm at Our Lady of Mercy for pizza and board games.
Event 2 – May 8 – Bowling
On May 8, join us for bowling from 6-8pm at Lucky Strike.
Event 3 – June 12 – Ice Cream Social
On June 12, join us for an ice cream social at a location in downtown Naperville from 6-8pm.

Step 1 – Sign Up
Fill out the online signup form: SIGN UP HERE
Step 2 – Turn in Permission Form
Form must be completed and returned to Lydia Schmitt or the Formation Office. If the office is closed, there is a secure dropbox on the wall next to the Formation Office door.

Step 3 – Make a Payment
A $50 fee applies to cover the cost of the events.
Online payment can be made on our website using credit/debit card or PayPal. PAY ONLINE HERE.
Payment can be made using cash or check through the OLM Formation office.
Interested in Becoming a Peer Volunteer
