Farewell Reception for Fr. Frank – 6/29

Come celebrate and give thanks for Fr. Frank’s time with us at Our Lady of Mercy—his very first assignment following his ordination to the priesthood!

Join us after the 10am Mass on Sunday, June 29 for a farewell reception and a chance to express your appreciation. Let’s celebrate all that God has done through Fr. Frank and surround him with our prayers as he steps into this new season of ministry!

Fr. Frank was ordained on May 20, 2023, and has spent the entirety of his priesthood—just over two years—serving and ministering to our parish family. Though his time with us has been short, it has been a tremendous blessing. His wit, wisdom, and joyful presence have left a lasting impact on so many hearts.

We are so grateful to God—and to the Diocese of Joliet; Bishop Hicks—for assigning us such a dedicated and faith-filled priest. As he begins his next chapter at St. Liborius Parish in Steger on July 1, let’s gather to send him off with a joyful and heartfelt farewell.
