Corpus Christi Procession – 6/7

Join us! Make known God’s presence in our world and in our lives!

Let us come together as a parish family on Sunday, June 7th, and walk with Jesus at the annual Corpus Christi Procession. All are welcome. The procession will take place immediately following the 12pm Mass.

It will then make its way through the Church grounds.

A special invitation to the children who have received their First Holy Communion this year and all children to wear their Sunday best clothes and scatter flower petals to honor Jesus! Please sign up HERE:

Children should wear their Sunday best or First Communion attire and will walk just ahead of the Blessed Sacrament under the canopy. It’s a reverent, joy-filled event that shows our deep love for Jesus truly present in the Eucharist.

Please bring your children to Room 108 in the PLC by 12:30pm. We suggest attending an earlier Mass if possible. If you attend the 12pm Mass, sit near the back and head to Room 108 right after Communion.

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi, witnesses the Church Universal giving homage and thanks to Jesus Christ, who instituted the Holy Eucharist, the Church’s greatest treasure.

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi is celebrated either on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday or the following Sunday. The feast was instituted by Pope Urban IV in 1246.

A quick note on parking: Please park towards the west side of the parking lot, towards the canopy where Door C is located. There will be no parking on the parking spaces closest to Eola Street.
