☕ Registration Now Open! 17th Annual Ladies’ Advent Tea Sunday 11/29
An Afternoon of Rest, Hope & Advent Joy
Before the Christmas shopping, wrapping, baking, decorating, and endless to-do lists begin, we invite you to give yourself a special gift this Advent: an afternoon to slow down, reconnect, and prepare your heart for the coming of Christ.
Join us for Our Lady of Mercy’s 17th Annual Ladies’ Advent Tea on Sunday, November 29, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Parish Life Center.
This cherished parish tradition brings women together for a beautiful afternoon of friendship, laughter, prayer, reflection, and Advent joy. Whether you’ve attended for years or are joining us for the very first time, we warmly invite you to be part of this special gathering.
O Holy Night: The Weary World Rejoices
This year’s theme draws inspiration from the beloved Christmas hymn O Holy Night and its beautiful reminder that even in a weary world, there is reason to rejoice.
Life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, and caught up in the demands of everyday responsibilities. And as Christmas approaches, it’s easy to become so busy preparing for the celebration that we forget to prepare our hearts for the One we celebrate.
But Advent invites us to something more.
It is a season of waiting, hope, and joyful expectation. A time to remember that God has not forgotten His people and that His promises are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Hope has a name, and His name is Jesus!
No matter what burdens we carry or how weary our hearts may feel, the coming of our Savior gives us every reason to rejoice.
This Advent Tea is an opportunity to set aside the busyness, enjoy the company of other women, and rediscover the peace and joy that come from making room for Christ.
