Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen 9/24

A historic moment for the Catholic Church is coming this September! Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen will be beatified on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Known to millions through his Emmy Award-winning television program Life Is Worth Living, Archbishop Sheen was a gifted evangelist whose love for Jesus Christ, devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, and passion for sharing the Catholic faith continue to inspire people throughout the world.

Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, serving as the papal representative of Pope Leo XIV, will celebrate the Mass of Beatification at 2:00 p.m.

The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the Sheen Expo, Eucharistic Adoration, and Confession. A pre-Mass program featuring a concert and discussions begins at 10:00 a.m., with veneration of Archbishop Sheen’s relics following the Beatification Mass.
