Stations of the Cross

This Lent, come walk with Jesus on the way of the Cross. Grow closer to Jesus and experience His Passion by saying the Stations of the Cross.

Scheduled Parish – Stations of the Cross

Fridays During Lent (beginning 2/20)

12:30 noon (Spanish) / 7pm (English)

Other Options

We have 3 sets of Stations of the Cross available for you to take advantage of saying the stations at your convenience.

  • Narthex – Our beautiful stations in the Narthex have been reframed. Come enjoy them!
  • Outdoor – Go to our churches beautiful backyard space, and find our outdoor Stations of the Cross on the back wall of the church.
  • PLC Hallway across from Rm124 – A beautifully illustrated children’s set of Station of the Cross is on the hallway wall. There is also a table of booklets available to use while saying them.

Fill an Easter Bag for a Child in Need

Our Faith Formation Easter Service Project is to help the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry supply Easter bags/baskets to families in need for their Easter celebrations.

  • March 7/8 – Easter bags and flyers are available for pickup.
  • Fill the bag with items.
  • March 21/22 – Return the filled bags to church.

Confession Unplugged

with Fr. Vagenas

Wednesday, 3/11 from 7-8:30pm

Our Lady of Mercy Parish Mission

Monday, 3/16 from 7PM- 8PM

Location: OLM Church

Facing Mercy with Fr. Ryan

The Parish Mission is a two-day event; we will attend together as an EDGE Community only on Monday, but you’re welcome to attend both days to experience the full Parish Mission. At least one parent must accompany your child(ren), but we encourage your entire family to attend.

3/16 – The Story of Salvation

From creation and the fall to Christ’s rescue…God has been pursuing you all along.

3/17 – The Story & Our Response

Facing our wounds, rediscovering we are beloved sons and daughters, and learning how mercy sends us outward with hope.

EDGE student instructions

  • Families should arrive between 6:40 pm and 6:50 pm.
  • Students will check-in at the PLC front desk.
  • Families can then proceed into the Church and sit anywhere they like.
  • Dismissal: This event requires the student to be accompanied by an adult, therefore, checkout is not required. 

OLM Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)

Wednesday, March 18, 7:15-8:45pm

Location: Feed My Starving Children, Aurora

This is an OLM Parish discipleship event at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).

We have reserved slots for 170 of our parishioners to come help pack meals for hungry children around the world.

OLM’s Family Talent Show is Coming!

Saturday, 3/28 from 5:15–7:15 PM

Location: Gym

Children ages 4–12 (with parents or family members welcome to join them)

Whether it’s music, magic, dance, comedy, or something completely unique, this is a chance to celebrate the gifts God has given each of us.

Come support our young performers, enjoy great food, and experience a joyful evening of community, creativity, and faith!

Good Friday

Get your day off to a good start, and join us at 8am for Morning Prayer on Good Friday.

Living Stations of the Cross

Our high schools teens will do Living Stations of the Cross in the church on Good Friday at 12 Noon. Please come watch, enjoy, and meditate on Christ’s Passion.

If you are in 8th grade, you are also welcome to signup to participate.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

Join us at 3pm for the annual celebration in remembrance of Our Lord’s Passion on Good Friday.
