🙏 The Curé Circle | Join Us in Prayer for Fr. Michael & Fr. Vagenas 🙏

God has richly blessed Our Lady of Mercy with two faithful shepherds — Fr. Michael and Fr. Vagenas — let’s bless them in return through The Curé Circle, a monthly evening of prayer dedicated to our OLM priests.

🕯️ Monday, October 6th at 7pm

📍 Inside the Church | Immediately after the 6:30pm Mass

St. John Vianney Curé of Ars is the patron saint of all priests. He died in 1859, and 150 years later, in 2009, Pope Benedict XVI honored his life by declaring the Year for Priests with the theme “Faithfulness of Christ, Faithfulness of Priests.”

Inspired by St. John Vianney, The Curé Circle is an hour of prayer in gratitude, love, and spiritual support for our parish priests who tirelessly serve us— offering the Sacraments day after day, including anointing the sick, and hearing Confessions. They guide us, feed us the Eucharist, and walk with us through every season of life.

Let’s gather as one parish family to pray with love and purpose for the priests who pour themselves out for us.

Why do we pray for our priests? Because their ministry is essential to the life of the Church. Through their ordination, they act in persona Christi—in the very person of Christ—bringing us the Eucharist and the grace of the sacraments. Their lives are rooted in prayer, yet their mission is often demanding and spiritually taxing. Our prayers strengthen them in their calling, support them in their trials, and help sustain their fidelity to their vocation. Simply put, when we pray for our priests, we strengthen the whole Church.

📅 The Curé Circle meets every first Monday of the month. Come and be part of this prayerful movement of intercession.
