EDGE Family Mass

When: Thursday, September 24th, from 6:30 PM

Location: Church

What to bring: Your family and your joy as we gather to celebrate Mass together as an EDGE community.

Our EDGE Family Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Vagenas in our church, and we look forward to seeing everyone come together. We kindly ask families to arrive a little early if possible so we can all begin smoothly and joyfully.

• Open to the entire family: siblings, grandparents, and family friends are welcome
• Please sit in the center aisles so Communion can flow smoothly
• Students must sign in at the front desk by the gym before heading into the church
• At least one parent/guardian (18+) must be present
• After Mass, no sign-out required. Families may exit and enjoy the evening together

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for joining us at yesterday’s Mass, celebrated by Fr. Vagenas. It was such a blessing to come together as a community in prayer and worship.

In his homily, Fr. Vagenas reminded us about God, the Holy Spirit, the beautiful gift we received at Baptism, and the importance of keeping Christ at the center of our lives because He does not change. The things of this world money, power, and pleasures, will all fade, but the one thing that remains is our relationship with Christ. “Do not be afraid to call on the Holy Spirit in all circumstances.”

We pray that the items in the baggie provided at the Family Mass will allow you to pause as a family, pray, and have fun and meaningful conversations.

Rosary & Bonfire Social Event – RSVP CLICK HERE

When: Monday, September 28th, from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Church Grounds

What to bring: If your child has a rosary, please have them bring it for prayer. If not, we’ll gladly provide one.

We’re excited to invite your child to our upcoming EDGE Social Bonfire and Rosary event! This evening will include fellowship, communal prayer, and a bonfire with hot dogs and s’mores provided. 

Arrival & Check-In

• Students arrive 6:20–6:30 pm at the Parish Life Center (PLC) Door B.
• Check-in at the front desk with a Building Leader (also the location for early pick-up).

Dismissal

• Dismissal is at 8:00 pm from Door C (side near the ramp).
• Parents: form a car line along the sidewalk toward the back of the parking lot.
• Students will wait on the sidewalk until their ride pulls up to the first orange cone for loading.
• For safety, students may not cross the car line into the parking lot.

Highlights from the night:

• Free play outdoor games
• Bonfire food: S’mores & Hotdogs
• Created a one-of-a-kind Glow in the Dark Rosary with glow stick bracelets — placed around the cross as we prayed the Joyful Mysteries
• Teens wrote personal prayer intentions that were lifted up during the Rosary

Help EDGE Build 100 Blessing Bags

We are partnering with the Peace and Justice Ministry to help make Blessing Bags for people experiencing homelessness, along with our prayers for those who will receive them. During the month of October, we will be collecting items to assemble the Blessing Bags at the end of the month. There will be a labeled bin next to the Sign-In/Welcome Desk where you can drop off your donated items.

Our hope is to bless 100 people this fall by making 100 Blessing Bags! Please sign up for any items you are able to donate using the link below.
