Solemnity of the Assumption – 8/15

We hope to see you for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin- a Holy Day of Obligation- at the following Mass times:
Vigil Mass Thurs 8/14 @ 6:30pm
Fri 8/15 @ 8am, Noon, and 6:30pm

The solemnity recognizes when Mary was assumed body and soul into heaven. Belief in the Assumption traces back to the early Church, and Pope Pius XII dogmatically declared the Assumption in 1950. “Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.”
