True Sight
Deacon Tom speaks about the temptation to think of spiritual growth and perseverance as a matter of instant gratification. Looking at the experience of adversity in the spiritual life (and life in general), we are encouraged to engage with the gift of faith, a true kind of seeing and perceiving reality, which enables us to see Jesus with us and encouraging us every step of the way to eternal life with Him which is the greatest reward.
