Back Where We Belong
Father James breaks open Isaiah 40:1-5, 9-1, and Mark 1:1-8. Exile is a terrible place to be. Israel was exiled, and we too experience exile from God. Yet, God makes a bold proclamation that resounds from Isaiah to John the Baptist: “Every mountain shall be made low, and every valley filled in.” The Lord desires to make a way to our hearts! But we must repent and cooperate in order to receive this gift.
