Service & Discipleship Projects

An important goal of the L.I.G.H.T. program is to empower our high school teens to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in today’s world.  To help them on their spiritual journey, the L.I.G.H.T. program enables teens to be disciples through involvement in service and discipleship.

Requirement for Confirmation Preparation Program
Teens are asked to complete 3 SERVICE PROJECTSand 3 DISCIPLESHIP CREDITS to enter the Confirmation preparation program. Service projects should be for someone in need, while Discipleship credits focus on sharing faith with someone or a group.

Please see the many different projects listed below. Teens may also complete other projects not on the list. Just contact Dave at DaveM@olmercy.com to find out if the project will count as service or discipleship.
